Over the next three years Dr Michael Cade-Stewart will investigate the history of poetic rhythm from Wordsworth to Auden using an innovative digital approach. This project, tenable at one of the Institute's research-partner institutions, the Department of Digital Humanities at King's College, London, will build on elements of his doctorate, which was undertaken at the Institute under the supervision of Prof. Warwick Gould and Dr Wim Van Mierlo. It was examined by Prof. John Kelly (Oxford) and Prof. Mark Ford (UCL).
