IES Appoints Dr Cynthia Johnston to Lectureship

Tuesday 12 July 2016

The Institute of English Studies is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Cynthia Johnston to an 0.5FTE Lectureship in the History of the Book with effect from 1 July 2016. The post will be for two years in the first instance. Dr Johnston will continue her duties as coordinator and course tutor for the MA in the History of the Book, a role in which she has excelled. She will also contribute through her research, postgraduate supervision and external engagements, which will enhance the Institute's distinctive provision in book history. She will become a full member of the IES staff team. We are all looking forward to continuing to work closely with her.

Dr Johnston's appointment will be in addition to the full-time lecturer/senior lecturer position in book history and communication advertised here.
