PLENARIES

The 5th ISLE Conference will be hosted by the Institute of English Studies in Senate House. The conference schedule includes four plenary speakers, workshops, paper and poster presentations, as well as a social programme.

We presently invite papers on any area of research pertaining to English linguistics, including syntax, morphology, semantics, pragmatics, language change, sociolinguistics, etc. Abstracts must be between 300 and 500 words long (excluding references) and must be fully anonymous.

The deadline for submission is 30 November 2017. The abstracts will be reviewed anonymously and notification of acceptance will be sent out by the end of January 2018.
