The conference will feature more than 90 papers presented over three days, highlighting the growing interest in the screenplay as a subject area in many countries. The three keynote presentations will be given by screenwriter and director Hossein Amini, leading academic Professor Kathryn Millard and one time head of BBC Drama, Professor Jonathan Powell. In addition a special event will be held at the British Library on the screenplay collections held there which includes a talk by Oscar wining screenwriter, Sir Ronald Harwood.

The event is organised by a committee from different institutions grouped around the London Screenwriting Research Seminar – including the University of Bangor, the University of East London, The University of Greenwich and Royal Holloway, University of London.
