Alice Ford-Smith (Bernard Quaritch Ltd.) will repeat her new library walk,

`Samuel Pepys: Book Hunting in Restoration London’, focusing on what his diary tells us about Pepys’s relationship with books, and the people, businesses and institutions of London that helped him form a library like no other. You will hear about this Londoner’s remarkable life, his adventures with print and those most closely associated with his collecting. Please be prepared for plenty of walking, and Pepys’s colourful language.

The walk will commence at 5.30 p.m. from the entrance gate of St Bride's Church, off Fleet Street, and finish approximately 90 minutes later near Tower Hill.  Tickets are £10 each. Book through Eventbrite at http://bit.ly/2BWYecJ.
