The Study Week is aimed at postgraduate and doctoral students with a focus on nineteenth-century studies and the works of George Eliot in particular. There are a maximum of 20 places and applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

The application form provides space for you to submit a statement outlining your reason(s) for wishing to attend. Please use this opportunity to present a compelling case, giving an overview of your academic background and how you hope to benefit from an intensive week of study on George Eliot.

Applications are not yet open. The application form will be available at the beginning of September.

Applications will be acknowledged upon receipt. Your application will be reviewed by the director and you will receive the outcome within two weeks of submission. At this stage, you will be directed to the online payments system.

The fee for the School is £300, including activities, a morning break and lunch. You will also be provided with access to Senate House Library for the week.
