Applications will open in October 2019.

The Study Week is aimed at postgraduate and doctoral students with a focus on nineteenth-century studies and the works of Charles Dickens in particular. There are a limited number of places available and applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

The application form provides space for you to submit a statement outlining your reason(s) for wishing to attend. Please use this opportunity to present a compelling case, giving an overview of your academic background and how you hope to benefit from an intensive week of study on the Brontës.

Applications will be acknowledged upon receipt. Your application will be reviewed by the director and you will receive the outcome within two weeks of submission. At this stage, you will be directed to the online payments system.

The fee for the School is £300, including activities, a morning break and lunch. Access to Senate House Library will also be provided for the week.

Payment is required upon registration. Applications are screened for academic suitability, if your application is not successful you will be refunded the full amount.
